As the founder of Mattern Capital, he draws on a rare combination of technical depth and practical insight in investment strategy, tax and estate planning, and the multifaceted demands of significant wealth.
Perry’s value lies not only in his technical expertise but in his ability to connect with clients as a true partner. He offers sound counsel and strategic thinking across a range of life events: from major liquidity events and generational wealth planning to unexpected transitions like illness, divorce, or loss. He helps clients move forward with clarity, confidence, and peace of mind.
With experience shaped by decades of economic cycles, regulatory changes, and market disruptions, Perry combines insight, steadiness, and a rare ability to simplify the complex. Clients often say they rely on him for far more than financial advice. He’s their sounding board, guide, and steady hand.
Perry lives in Evergreen with his wife and enjoys time outdoors, especially golf and mountain biking. They have two grown children.

As a Client Relationship Manager, she brings unmatched consistency, responsiveness, and care to her work—ensuring that every client feels heard, supported, and well cared for.

Ryan holds a degree in Finance from the Metropolitan State University of Denver. She works seamlessly with the Mattern Capital team to ensure a smooth, coordinated experience for every client.
Outside of the office, Ryan enjoys spending time with her husband and family, especially fishing and visiting their college-aged twin sons.

Before joining Mattern Capital, Amanda DePriest spent nearly a decade in client service and financial education, building the foundation for her role as a Financial Planning Analyst. She began her career at Charles Schwab in 2016 after earning her degree in Business from Boise State University, where she developed a strong foundation in financial principles and a passion for helping others navigate their financial lives.
At Mattern Capital, she supports the development and implementation of comprehensive financial plans that help clients make informed, confident decisions about their future.
She works closely with advisors to analyze data, prepare recommendations, and provide meaningful insights, ensuring every plan is both technically sound and aligned with the client’s goals and values. Her thoughtful, analytical approach, attention to detail, and dedication to service help elevate the client experience across the firm.
Amanda enjoys making the most of her time outdoors—whether hiking, snowboarding, or taking in concerts at Red Rocks. She has visited all 50 U.S. states and looks forward to exploring more of the world.

Ryan Dow brings nearly two decades of experience in wealth management, with a career spanning 15 years at Wells Fargo Advisors before joining Mattern Capital in 2021. He holds a BA in Economics from CU Boulder and an MBA from CU Denver.
Ryan is driven by a deep commitment to building lasting relationships and guiding clients through life’s financial complexities. He believes in providing a steady, unbiased voice, helping individuals and families create and stick to financial plans that align with their goals. His approach emphasizes clarity—breaking down industry jargon so clients feel confident in their decisions.
A Colorado native, Ryan enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife and two daughters, golfing, skiing, and cheering on the CU Buffs and Broncos. In the summer, you’ll find him tending to his backyard salsa garden.

Caryn Egbert has spent more than three decades in wealth management and has been a key leader at Mattern Capital since its founding in 2019. Her passion for order, structure, and integrity makes her a natural leader in the firm’s compliance and operational strategy—functions that are essential to protecting client interests and supporting Mattern’s long-term success.
With meticulous attention to detail, Caryn oversees the regulatory and operational framework that ensures clients experience seamless service and absolute trust in the firm’s stewardship. Kelly Freeman has worked in the financial industry since 2017 and brings deep expertise in institutional trading and portfolio administration to Mattern Capital. As an Investment Manager, she ensures that every trade is executed with precision.
Kelly’s analytical mindset and strong attention to detail allow her to navigate complexity with clarity and precision. She works closely with our wealth advisors and client relationship managers to ensure that client accounts are optimized for each client’s unique short and long-term financial goals and objectives.
A graduate of the University of Kansas with a degree in Economics, Kelly lives in Denver with her partner and their King Charles Cavalier, Gatsby. She is passionate about travel, an avid reader, and loves spending time in the Colorado mountains.

Riley Govan brings strong analytical skills, a solid foundation in finance, and a commitment to client service to his role as a Financial Planning Analyst at Mattern Capital. In this role, he supports the development and execution of personalized financial plans, working closely with the advisory team to ensure each plan reflects the client’s unique goals, priorities, and circumstances.
Before joining Mattern Capital, Riley served as a Client Associate and Financial Analyst at Synergy Capital of Colorado. His previous experience, combined with a BS in Finance from Colorado State University, prepared him well for the dynamic, client-centered environment of Mattern Capital.
Riley is passionate about continuous improvement and believes in doing the work, intellectually and personally, to better serve both clients and colleagues. A Colorado native, he enjoys golf, time with friends and family, and finding new ways to challenge himself both inside and outside the office.

With a background in computer engineering and advanced training in financial planning and private wealth management, Parveen Gupta brings a meticulous and analytical approach to wealth management. With a background spanning financial services, operations, and client support, she is passionate about helping clients feel heard, supported, and confident throughout every stage of their financial journey.
Before joining Mattern Capital, Ashley spent several years with Charles Schwab, where she developed extensive experience in client service and relationship management. Prior to transitioning into wealth management, she spent a decade with Mercedes-Benz USA/Daimler, managing complex financial operations and supporting dealerships across the Northeast region and Puerto Rico. During both Hurricane Sandy and the COVID-19 pandemic, Ashley volunteered for additional responsibilities to help clients navigate challenging financial circumstances, experiences that reinforced her commitment to serving others in meaningful ways.

Prior to joining the firm, he served as a Financial Advisor with Fidelity Investments in Denver, where he helped individuals and families navigate important financial decisions with greater clarity and confidence.
Brendon earned his degree in Economics-Finance from Bentley University, where he also competed as a collegiate athlete. His academic background, combined with a disciplined and analytical mindset, helps him bring clarity and structure to complex financial decisions while guiding clients toward their long-term goals.
